  • I bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families across a range of settings, including preschools, universities, residential treatment, in-home services, and private practice. While much of my early work was with children and caregivers, these roles deeply shaped my ability to attune and hold space for clients.

I’ve always been deeply curious about people - especially how we make sense of our lives through the stories we tell. My decision to pursue professional counseling grew out of my own experiences of grief and loss, including the deaths of several close family members, and the transformative process of working through those experiences.

Outside of my work, I enjoy camping, spending time with my daughter and partner, cuddling my cats, and starting (and sometimes finishing) creative or DIY projects. I’m a dual citizen of Switzerland and the U.S., and I value the perspective that comes from a multicultural, bilingual upbringing.

I also co-host a birth story podcast which you can find here:

  • The name of my practice, "Midmaples Therapy," holds deep personal significance. It is a nostalgic nod to my long-lost childhood home, where I grew up surrounded by majestic sugar maple trees. I am quite similar to you, the client, for I am also a human who experiences pain and joy. Through my work as a therapist, I strive to foster an environment of collaborative healing and growth, much like the sanctuary I experienced beneath those maple trees. All parts of you are welcome and I consider it a profound privilege to be invited into your innermost thoughts and feelings.
